To celebrate my birthday this year, I'm publishing the project I have been working the past few months.

It's called Capydocs, and it is a tool that is a mix of Notion, Obsidian and Windows Explorer.

I wanted to have a timeline view, to have thumbnail previews, and to handle all kind of content and not only markdown files. Also wanted to mix diagrams inside markdowns, and have a search that is nice to use like in Notion. Also wanted to handle images, PDFs, videos, audio, etc.

It has been a pretty intense journey, but learned a lot. Learned to use Tauri, Svelte and Vite. Upgraded my TypeScript skills. And learned how to tame Codex. Managed to finish a project, and also the project helped to organize and visualize my own history.
