Continued from 2019

Finished with a 100% Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, continued playing The Witcher 3 and Overwatch.

Profesor Layton vs Phoenix Wright

I’m playing this DS game along my wife. We started it a few months ago, but we are playing it from time to time before going to sleep. It is pretty cool Layton puzzles + Phoenix Wright trials & investigations.

This one is pretty special. Despite the game having 10 years already, never played Minecraft before. @Fhelran suggested me to play since he was playing alone and enjoying it a lot. I started playing, then my wife, that was playing The Sims 4 and Story of Seasons, watched me playing and joined. Then we ended playing all three together. Some fortuite events happened, we almost lost a village except one inhabitant and my wife accidentally killed the last one. She was really sorry, but was super fun and we played Minecraft roleplaying and inventing a history for our world since then. We played lots of pranks and had a lot of fun. Thanks @Fhelran for all those awesome moments!

Warcraft III: Reforged

Despite I played Warcraft III a lot of years ago, I think I never ending the story of the game. This time I played it and finished it. It is a bit sad that Blizzard didn’t fulfilled their promises about improving the game further. But well, I played at least after they fixed most of the most important bugs.

Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Trilogy

A lot of years ago I played the second game of the main trilogy and it was really cool. This time I played the first game. And plan to replay the second one and the third one after some time.

Puyo Puyo Tetris

Puyo Puyo is one of my favourite puzzle games out there, so I played this one. Mixing it with tetris was interesting. Though I missed the fever mode from Puyo Pop Fever.

Broken Sword 3 - the Sleeping Dragon

A long time ago I played the first Broken Sword and liked it a lot. Had a lot of memories, and a few years ago I played the second one too. This time I plan to play the three last ones starting with this one. Not finished yet. It is weird that it is 3D.

Final Fantasy X: HD Remaster

The PS2 was the first console I bought with my own money and Final Fantasy X was the first game I bought for it. It was a really special game to me. I have replayed it this time on my PC and used cheats to avoid all the farming part. It is still pretty cool, and the story and symbology super awesome. This time I was able to understand a lot more the meaning of stuff, evolution and lore.

I played this Action RPG when I was a teenager. I enjoyied it a lot by then, but I was not able to finish it. Don’t remember if it was due to a hard disk failure or a CD failure, but I only reached Rain by then. This time I have finished it and it is a great awesome game.

This one is pretty controversial! This is not a porn game, but it is definitely intended for adults. I started playing it on the Xbox 360 a lot of years ago, but not finished it. This time I have finished it with a few endings and it is pretty cool. The puzzle games are enjoyable and the story interesting, though you can’t expect millions of plot twists there I didn’t expect a few things.

DOOM Eternal

As a DOOM fan I had to play this one. The lastest ones were subverb and I enjoyed this one a lot too. Completed it 100%.

Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse + Half-Genie Hero

Never played the Shantae franchise before, but I started playing the Pirate’s Curse one and it happened to be a pretty nice platformer metroidvania moe game so I played Half-Genie Hero too. The next one will be Shantae and the Seven Sirens probably next year.

Played Devil May Cry 1, 2 (and I believe 3) when I was a teenager. This time I played DmC though not finished it yet it has been pretty enjoyable and I will probably finish it next year. After that one I will play Devil May Cry 4 and 5.

I played this game with my wife. We had a lot of fun. Maybe 30%.

Two Point Hospital

I used to enjoy a lot the good old game Theme Hospital, so I wanted to play this one. This one is nice, and I played like 10 or 11 levels, then got bored. But probably will continue it next year.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider

I was alternating this one with The Witcher 3, but paused it. I finished the other rebooted Tomb Raider games with 100%, so I will probably resume it in 2021. Visually it is spectacular almost on par with Cyberpunk 2077 when RTX is enabled but with not that much elements on screen.

Desperados III

Not played the other games from the saga, but reminded me a lot of the old Comandos game. A pretty cool tactical-espionage game. Didn’t finish it yet, but plan to resume it next year.

Thanks Pablo for the gift!

Cyberpunk 2077

I wanted to play Cyberpunk 2077 since a few years ago, and specially after started playing The Witcher 3 and knew this games was being done by the same folks from CD Projekt RED. Despite of the fiasco of the PS4/XboxOne versions and the huge number of bugs, visually is probably one of the most awesome games I have ever seen with raytracing activated. Pretty sad we can’t see the reflection of our own character. I have played for around 31 hours trying to complete stuff and didn’t get bored yet. The setting is awesome. Not the typical medieval fantasy game. It is a disturbing dystopia, with lot of sexual stuff and violence. People criticized it a lot, but I think the game exposes the reality we are going to in terms of society, with lot of thought-provoking stuff specially from usb devices + the TV. BTW: Half Life 3 confirmed for the year 2077 :D

Thanks Pablo and Mario for the gift, I’m enjoying it a lot!
